ReFraming

Listening to today’s news can depress anyone and stop one in their
tracks.
Dan’s workshop was well needed and refreshing to recharge our attitude
and beliefs. He taught us that our beliefs create our world both by our
emotions and thoughts. The old adage, “I’ll believe it when I see it “is self defeating and negative.
Actually you will see what you want when you believe it. Having empowering beliefs and acting on them will bring you rewards. Our beliefs are our creative force and we can make our world either positive or negative. When you change your perspective you will
change your world.
We did an exercise on what area we were committed on creating a new
belief in. Dan had us look at our old beliefs and write them down and then write down the impact and the payoff it gives us.
Then we wrote the new beliefs on that same topic and wrote out the new possibilities to show us how empowering our mind is and how we can change our outcomes by changing our
perspective.
I don’t know about you but in the economy we are in right now and
nothing but bad news, it is refreshing to know that we have the power to change our world by changing our beliefs and not participating in this recession.
Let’s make this our best year ever and be thankful for all of the things that are going right in our lives instead of concentrating on the negative.

Time Machine

How many more clients could you follow up with and add to your business if you freed up one hour a day? Time is as critical as money.Yet, many companies are not accustomed to allocating and investing it with the same level of care as they would with
more traditional asset.
Poised, enthusiastic, passionate and eager to share, ?Time Management
Expert?, Serena Fuchs, shared basic fundamentals. While these were
simple ?to do?s?, most, often ignore or overlook these helpful tips to work
smarter not harder.
Why is it important to be a good time manager?Astudy done by Basex,
calculated that workplace interruption cost the US economy $588 billion a year. By this, they mean the time of the interruptions and distractions to the recovery time associated with getting
back on task.
So, it?s very important not to loose your ability to prioritize and stay focused.
A good way to see where your time goes would be to chart your time
for 1 week to see where and how most of your time is spent.
Some helpful tips on eliminating ?TimeWasters?, include closing your
door to shut off noise and distractions; turning off the ringer on your phone; and organizing.work areas with everything you need within eye and hand reach so that you won?t waist time looking for something over and over.
Kindergarten classes are good examples of how an organized area
should be. For example, everything that is needed for drawing and or painting is in the same place.
Remember that planning your day prior to starting your day can help eliminate wasted time, money, thus becoming a ?smarter time machine?.
